VASRA State Championship Regatta

For the first time in many years, PA Crew was invited to participate in the Virginia State Rowing Association State Championship Regatta. PA Crew’s Women’s & Men’s Varsity boats qualified for the invitation, and we couldn’t be prouder of that fact and of their results.

PACC’s showing at this competitive state championship, alongside around 48 other crew teams competing, resulted in our women’s varsity placing fifth and men’s varsity placing fifth in the petit finals with a view of a boat behind them.

Our pride is overwhelming as our athletes, Olivia, Isabella, Madeleine, Dakota, Izzie, Alex, Zachary, Nathaniel, Michael, and Audrey represent all PA stands for through their determination, strength, resilience, encouragement, and sportsmanship, never wavering in their commitment to the sport or their team. The entire PA Crew team worked to get these boats to this regatta, without each and every team rower, PACC could not be what it is today. It goes without saying that none of this would be possible without our Coaches Jon and Carol, who we are grateful for beyond measure.

A special note of gratitude to our rower and gifted photographer Lorenzo for capturing the experience as only he can, we are lucky to have you!!

Also, Happy Birthday again to our varsity men’s coxswain Audrey, who spent her birthday crushing it as she led her boat mates with fierce determination.

Congratulations to our PACC Coaches & athletes!!

We CAN’T wait for next season!

Let’s Go PA!
