Directions to the Boathouse from South and West (from Mathews website)
Take I-64 to Route 17 (J. Clyde Morris Blvd) exit.
Follow Route 17 North through Gloucester County.
Turn right onto Route 17 Business after you pass Walmart.
Turn right onto Route 14 at the first stop light.
Follow Route 14 until you reach a stop sign (about 12 miles).
Turn right onto Route 14/Route 198.
Stop at the first stop sign.
Turn right again (Hardee's on the corner).
Drive about 2 miles and turn right onto Route 614.
Follow to the end of Williams Wharf.

Directions to Robertson Rowing Center, Norfolk, VA
Take I 264 West to I- 64 West towards Richmond
Exit at 277A to VA 168 South/Tidewater Drive
Continue approx 1.5 miles, Turn right on Willow Wood Dr.
Turn right at Lakewood Park
Parking is in the paved lot or on the grass as directed.
Proceed towards water/ towards far end of the parking lot
Helpful Hints:
Bring a chair.
Wear layers. Because we start so early, the weather will warm up by the afternoon.
Bring sunscreen.
Have your rowers bring extra clothes just in case (ESPECIALLY SOCKS).
If you have a camera and/or binoculars, bring them. It will be helpful in watching the races and documenting the experience.
Volunteer as much as you can and get involved.
