PA Crew's New Captains Take The Lead & Dock Replacement Campaign Has Launched!
Like every sports program around the country, PA Crew's Spring 2020 Season ended before it began and all team activities came to an abrupt halt this past March. Our rowers and coxswains have been unable to gather as a team due to an unprecedented pandemic and are still waiting for the green light to return to the water. But that hasn't stopped PA Crew from planning for the future. The team engaged in individual strength and conditioning, attended social-distanced skills training, and gathered on zoom to plan for a Spring 2021 season.
While we said goodbye to our 2020 seniors, we also welcomed our new captains,
and Andrew Z.
as well as new board leadership with
Leslie Walters leading a new group of volunteer parents as the President of the PA Crew Board.
Now we ask for your help in replacing our aging floating dock. The team launches their boats from a severely weathered floating dock for every practice. Before they enter the boats, each rower and coxswain must remove their shoes. As you can see, the team's dock has become a safety hazard.
