It's October 6th but it sure didn't feel like fall with temperatures reaching close to 80 degrees this past Sunday. PA Crew came out hot as well in their season opener, The Oyster Reef Regatta, which took place on the Lafayette River in Norfolk, Virginia. PA Crew raced all three 4+ boats in their inventory with three boats entered in both Men's Junior 4+ and Women's Junior 4+ and one boat racing in the Mixed Juniors 4+ race. The results were excellent with Men's Junior A 4+ placing 3rd of 9 boats. Women's Junior A 4+ placed 4th of 11 boats and their Mixed Junior 4+ placed 2nd of 4 boats.

PA Crew was also one of only a few teams that allowed their novices to row. Most of PA Crew's novices had less than one month of training on the water but this experience should serve them well at their next regatta on Sunday 20 October 2019, Head of the Lafayette (Halloween) Regatta.

Congratulations PA Crew! We're looking forward to seeing what you can accomplish next.
