What you'll learn

  • Ground school

  • Stationary rowing

  • Open water rowing

  • Boat types, positions and terminology

  • Time commitments and expectations

  • Rowing seasons and practices (fall, winter, spring)

  • The Eastern Virginia Scholastic Rowers Association and regattas

  • Parent participation

What to Bring

  1. Completed packet of forms

  2. $10 cash or check made out to Princess Anne Crew Club

  3. Lunch, snacks and a reusable water bottle

  4. Sunscreen, bug spray, hat or sunglasses (recommended)
