EVSRA CHAMPIONSHIP REGATTA
We are always looking for new rowers to join our team. To join our team, sign up to attend our annual Learn to Row Clinic to try out. These one day Clinics are typically scheduled during the last week in August. We practice year-round and compete in fall and spring regattas.
Presently, our team is comprised of student athletes from three Virginia Beach high schools with many of our rowers enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program. Our rowers hail from numerous countries that include Germany, Slovenia, France, China, and Norway which makes our team one of the most culturally diverse teams in the city. At any team event, you will regularly hear a variety of languages being spoken.
If you are interested in learning how to row, we offer one day clinics during the last week of August each summer. Click here for more information --> LEARN TO ROW. <-- Additionally, our regattas are open to the public and many take place at the Norfolk Botanical Garden. COME WATCH US ROW while enjoying the beauty of the garden! Click on the links below to learn more about this unique sport and OUR TEAM.
